Champs and Chumps: Start and Sit Week Seven
Autumn is in full effect. Everyone has some sort of fall tradition, it seems. For some, it’s a family trip to the cider mill or pumpkin patch. For others its a color tour out in the country. For us at TJI, however, it’s a mass firing and a hiatus. Every year about this time we like to clean house–firing all our below-average staff writers, particularly those responsible for some of our worst insights and advice. This year is no different. After recommending that you sit Philip Rivers or Matt Ryan, we’re looking slightly foolish. As a result heads must roll. What’s that? Yes, TJI was one of the few fantasy football sites to recommend double TD-scorer Maurice Jones-Drew as a must-start. If you followed our advice, it probably paid off in a big way. We also said that you should sit down De’Angelo Williams, Week Five’s golden boy. If you listened to us on that one, it probably paid off, too, as Williams ended up with only 30 or so yards.
So, what does Week Seven hold? Here’s the TJI Champs and Chumps…
